My specialty in tax and accounting began after completing my B.Comm at RAU, I was employed by the Receiver of Revenue as an assessor on partnerships, trusts, farming and companies. I completed my Honours degree through UNISA, and commenced articles at a small audit and accounting practice.
I later joined Defries Finn & Partners, where I was made a partner in the practice in 1996.
In March 2001 the firm amalgamated with Leveton Boner Horwath and Schneider Katz to form a medium sized audit and accounting practice.
Throughout my articles and my time as a partner, I specialised in management accounting and retirement funds.
To broaden my experience, I later worked as Chief Financial Officer for a leading sports brand distribution company before returning to my roots and forming my own practice.
I have 20 years experience.
